2026-2027 School Year - Immediate Opening

Position Overview: The Mohawk Trail Regional School is seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate 1:1 Special Education paraprofessional to support a middle school student within their therapeutic classroom, as well as all general education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to assigned student throughout all school activities, including classes, transitions, and lunch
• Promote student's active participation in programming through encouragement, modeling, prompting, and individualized accommodations consistent with student's IEP
• Provide trauma-sensitive teaching practices

Preference will be given to candidates with: 

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional to support students with special education needs

Compensation

• Hourly rate of pay in accordance with SY26/27 Step and Column of Unit B salary schedule. $18.21 to 33.38
