Position Overview: The Mohawk Trail Regional School is seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate 1:1 Special Education paraprofessional to support a middle school student within their therapeutic classroom, as well as all general education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to assigned student throughout all school activities, including classes, transitions, and lunch
Promote student's active participation in programming through encouragement, modeling, prompting, and individualized accommodations consistent with student's IEP
Provide trauma-sensitive teaching practices

Preference will be given to candidates with:

Prior experience working as a paraprofessional to support students with special education needs

Compensation

Hourly rate of pay in accordance with SY26/27 Step and Column of Unit B salary schedule. $18.21 to 33.38
